first, my story..

Being experienced in an industry comes with years of travelling on many roads, there are exciting adventures, bumpy roads, winding paths, and the thrill of the unknown around every corner. But when you arrive at each destination, that’s where the real experience unfolds. In that moment, If you’re completely present, you can feel the pure essence of where experience is born.

Hi, I’m Katharina , you can call me Kat.

My voice-over journey began without a clear direction, but over two decades in the industry, it’s been an incredible ride. At 15, I booked my first speaking gig with a promotions company hosting shopping centre competitions. Since then, I’ve navigated the modelling industry, directing and coaching, and studied broadcasting at The Academy of Radio, where I was offered an on-air position for Radiowest & Hot FM.

I became the first female announcer hosting the HOT 30 Countdown. Broadcasting ignited my passion for voice-over. I was in demand in the production suite, voicing hundreds of commercials and radio promos for the network. Later, the local TV station booked me regularly for their production sessions. After leaving radio, my reputation for voice-over followed, and I’ve voiced commercials for many radio stations in Perth, Australia, and beyond.

My voice-over business expanded into corporate narration, explainer videos, character voices and accents, and events. My passion for storytelling and connecting with audiences has grown stronger. I get satisfaction sharing my knowledge and experience as a mentor and coach at (PADWA) and (Perth Film School). Perth has an incredible pool of talent, and I’ve met many wonderful creatives and clients throughout my career.

Relationships are at the core of my business. I’ve built trust and reliability with my clients, who know me to voice some of their greatest projects.

Outside of my studio, I spend time with my family, who all have businesses in the creative industries. We travel often to the USA (LA in particular), as this is where our hearts feel inspired. I sneak in a conference or voice-over meet-up with colleagues and friends, and of course, we have a lot of fun!

Perth, despite being the most isolated city in the world, offers sunshine and a laid-back atmosphere. It keeps me grounded, knowing I can travel easily. I love the warm days, beaches, and parks. I enjoy casual catch-ups with friends and glamorous events where I can connect with my network.

Travelling is a part of who I am, allowing me to explore, expand myself, and sometimes surprise myself!

Much like the world of voice over, I’m thrilled to share this journey with you.
